I’m sure many of you are wondering how quickly this year has gone by. As we share this final edition of GreenLink for 2025, we pause to take stock of an extraordinary year. This issue weaves
together the many threads of our work, charting progress across ocean governance, biodiversity planning through BioSPACE, global negotiations, the GEOBUILD programme, and the Caribbean’s
flagship NDC Finance Initiative. 

Taken collectively, these milestones reflect an OECS that is increasingly confident, coordinated, and forward-looking, linking global commitments to regional priorities and tangible community level impact. They tell the story of a region of small islands stepping forward with clarity, conviction, and purpose to shape a more sustainable future.

This edition captures how the OECS continues to assert Caribbean leadership on climate action, biodiversity protection, sustainable energy, and resilience, grounded not only in global advocacy,
but in practical solutions that respond to the lived realities of island communities.
