The Government of Saint Lucia, in collaboration with the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), is inviting proposals from consulting firms to operationalize a Gender and Climate Budget Tagging system within the country's public finance management system. This initiative forms part of the project: ‘Catalyzing Low-Carbon Investment and Mobilizing Finance for Saint Lucia (CLIMB-SLU)’ that is funded by the Green Climate Fund.

With the Gender and Climate Budget Tagging System, Saint Lucia will better track climate and gender-related spending, improve financial decision-making, and mobilize investment to advance its national climate goals.

Key Activities (the selected firm will):
Design, pilot and operationalize a comprehensive Climate and Gender Budget Tagging system.
Validate the tagging methodology, build capacity among stakeholders, and integrate the system into the government’s budgeting IT framework.
